ICT

Over the last 2 terms we have been working hard in the ICT suite learning lots of new skills. We can switch on and off the computers, sign in and out and type a word document with ease. We experimented with the digital cameras as well, zooming in and out and taking photos of each other. We even put the photos into our word documents!

After that we began learning about the paint/draw package. We enjoyed experimenting with line, shape and colour.

For the next couple of weeks we will be looking at lots of fair trade websites to help with our topic. If you come across any good ones at home why not write them down so we can all have a look at them in class?

Christmas festivities

Room 7 are very busy this term preparing for all the exciting Christmas events that are fast approaching. Primary 2 have been practising lots for the Nativity and primary 3 are working extremely hard on their performance for the Christmas Concert. We are looking forward to seeing all of you there!

Fair trade topic

This term room 7 are studying a fair trade topic. We are very excited about it! At the end of term we will have invited guests from the local community into school to enjoy a coffee morning. The best bit is that we'll be making all of the cakes by ourselves! Wish us luck!
