LITTER PICK

On Friday 15th March we helped the wardens to pick up litter from the community around the school. We had to work very hard as there was so much litter there.

THE VIKINGS

 On Tuesday 12th March we held a very successful Open Evening for our topic. Our invited guests were able to play some Viking games such as Pin the Sword on the Viking, Viking Pairs and Find the Object the Vikings didn't have. They were also able to make up their own Viking dessert using oatcakes, blueberries, strawberries and jam. Everyone enjoyed looking at our hard work and listening to our Viking song.

On 4th March we took part in a Glow Meet and learned even more about the Vikings.

MUSEUM VISIT

On Tuesday 26th February we went to the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh to see the Viking Exhibition. We thought the exhibition was brilliant! We met two Vikings - Ulrika Redhead and Sven. While we were there we learned lots of Viking facts, took part in Viking school, played Viking games, were given Viking names such as Razor Teeth, saw some Viking rock carvings and were shown some Viking artefacts.
